Top 10 Simple Strategies for Healthy Holidays

Cookies, candy and fudge galore,
Parties and champagne and cocktails and more,
There goes my willpower right out the door!

So many of us rely on willpower alone to get through the season. However, with a few simple strategies, you can still enjoy family, friends and your favorite foods – without the guilt.

If you’ve followed me for awhile, you know I’m all about “simple” – making healthy habits sustainable.

1. If you wanna look amazing, you’ve gotta stop the grazing.  :)(water bottle in dominant hand)

2.  Tighten your belt.

3.  Be minty.

4.  Be a food snob.

5.  Be the last in line.

6.  Bring an ER pack.

7.  Water, water, water.

8.  Drink Smart. (use my alcohol tips)

9.  Bring healthy foods to parties/gatherings (protein-based, veggie tray, etc.)

10.  Protein is your friend.

Remember, the holidays are a wonderful time of year to enjoy family and friends.  Set yourself up for success by implementing these simple tips.  They will help you any time of year with social situations.
